Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred
• At least 3 years industry experience in accounting roles, preferably in the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry
• Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems
• Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel for data analysis and reporting

Description

• Receive and review vendor invoices for accuracy, completeness, and approval.
• Support the finance team to coordinate periodic schedule and ad hoc stock counts
• Communicate with vendors regarding invoice discrepancies, payment inquiries, and other account issues
• Review employees and branch expense reports for accuracy and compliance with company policies
• Reconcile accounts payable transactions and vendor statements to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and regulatory requirements
• Identify opportunities for process improvements in accounts payable functions to enhance efficiency and accuracy
• Ensure invoices are processed in accordance with company policies and procedures
